Application Fee

• For Each Category: Rs. 500/-
• For SC/ST/Differently Abled Candidates: Rs. 250/-

Age Limit

• There is no age limit to apply for KTET 2024.

Qualification

Category I (Lower Primary Classes: Class 1-5):

• 12th/10+2 (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and a Diploma in Education (D.Ed/TTC).
• 12th with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• 12th with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

Category II (Upper Primary Classes: Class 6-8):

• B.Ed with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• 4-year B.El.Ed or B.Sc.Ed/BA.Ed with at least 50% marks.
• Final year students of D.Ed/D.El.Ed and B.Ed can apply with a certificate from the head of the institution.

Category III (High School Classes: Class 9-12):

• Graduation in the relevant subject with a B.Ed degree.

Category IV (Language Teachers):

• Candidates with a certificate/degree in teaching, approved by Universities/NCTE/Government of Kerala.
